1. General
1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all laser hair removal treatments provided by Laser Light Skin in the United Kingdom.
1.2 By booking or receiving treatment, the client (“you”) acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.
1.3 Clients must be 18 years or older..
2. Consultation & Medical Disclosure
2.1 A mandatory consultation and patch test must be completed at least 24 hours before the first treatment.
2.2 You must provide truthful and complete medical information, including medications, medical conditions, skin conditions, allergies, and recent sun exposure.
2.3 Failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase risk and means responsibility rests fully with the client.
3. Contraindications
Treatment may not be provided if you have:
- Active infections, open wounds, or skin conditions in the treatment area
- Recent tanning, sunburn, or tanning bed use
- Photosensitising medications
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
4. Treatment Expectations
4.1 Laser hair removal results vary depending on skin type, hair type, hormones, and aftercare adherence.
4.2 Multiple sessions are required; no provider can guarantee permanent hair removal.
4.3 Session intervals must be followed to ensure optimal results.
5. Pre-Treatment Requirements
Clients agree to:
- Shave the treatment area 2-12 hours before the appointment
- Avoid waxing, plucking, threading, or hair removal creams for 4 weeks before treatment
- Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner for 2-4 weeks pre-treatment
- Avoid lotions, deodorant, perfumes, or oils on the day of treatment
-Avoid the use of essential oils for 48 hours prior to treatment.
-Avoid depilatory creams 1 week prior to treatment
-If you have a history of cold sores you may take your usual medication 5 days before and 5 days after treatment.
-If you have been on antibiotics, we ask that you leave 2 weeks between finishing the course and having laser treatment.
6. Aftercare Requirements
Clients agree to:
- Avoid sun exposure and use SPF 30+ for at least 4 days post treatment
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours
- Avoid scratching or irritating the treated area
-In the unlikely event you experience any redness or swelling after your treatment, apply a soothing lotion such as aloe vera or cool pack at home if required
.
- Not shave or apply deodorants perfumes to the treated area for 24-48 hours post treatment.
-Not use any skincare that contains AHA, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid or Rertinoic Acid (e.g. Retin A) for 3-5 days following treatment.
-You may start to gently exfoliate the skin after 3-5 days to help the shedding process.
-Maintain a good skincare routine with frequent moisturising on a daily basis.

7. Risks & Possible Side Effects
Common temporary effects include redness, swelling, and mild discomfort.
Less common risks include blistering, burns, pigmentation changes, or scarring.
8. Payments, Packages & Refunds
-In order to book in treatments a non-refundable deposit of 25% of treatment cost is required, the booking will not be made until the deposit is payed.
-The remainder of the cost is then to be payed on the day of treatment.
- Deposits are non-refundable under UK consumer law unless treatment cannot be provided for medical reasons.
- Missed or late cancellations may result in session loss.
9. Cancellations & Late Changes
- A minimum of 48 hours notice is required.
-Any changes to appointments with less than 48 hours notice will result in you losing the deposit.
10. Client Conduct
Clients must behave respectfully and follow staff instructions. Abusive behaviour may lead to treatment refusal.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal data is handled according to UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
12. Liability
The provider is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from failure to follow instructions or undisclosed medical conditions.
13. Changes to Terms
The provider may update these Terms at any time. The latest version applies to all bookings.
